Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

Security Academy Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we collect, use, and store information when you use our website or contact us.

1. Who We Are

Security Academy Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales.

Company number: 16891018
Registered office: 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX
Contact: hello@securityacademy.ltd

2. What Data We Collect

We collect personal data only when you voluntarily provide it. This includes:

  • Name and email address (when you submit the contact form or book a discovery call)
  • Company name and information about your service interest (if provided via the contact form)
  • IP address (captured automatically for spam and fraud prevention)
  • Basic usage data via Cloudflare (page visits, error logs) — this does not identify you personally

We do not use analytics tracking tools such as Google Analytics. We do not place marketing cookies.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the data you provide to:

  • Respond to your enquiry or confirm your discovery call booking
  • Follow up on conversations you have initiated with us
  • Prevent spam and fraudulent submissions

We do not use your data for unsolicited marketing. We will not add you to a mailing list without your explicit consent.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data on the basis of legitimate interests (responding to your enquiry) and, where applicable, your consent (when you book a call or request follow-up).

5. How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain enquiry data for up to 24 months. If no commercial relationship develops, we delete your data after that period. You can request deletion at any time (see section 7).

6. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell your data. We may share it with:

  • Cloudflare — for website hosting, security, and spam protection (Turnstile). Cloudflare processes data in accordance with UK GDPR.
  • Google — if you book a discovery call, your booking is handled via Google Calendar Appointment Schedules. Google's privacy policy applies to that interaction.

7. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk)

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@securityacademy.ltd.

8. Cookies

This website uses a small number of functional cookies:

  • Cloudflare Turnstile — sets a cookie to verify that form submissions are human. This is a security measure, not a tracking tool.

We do not use advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking cookies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

10. Contact

For any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at hello@securityacademy.ltd.
